Some very light scattered foxing to some page edges. Illustrated with black and white plates and drawings. Colour frontispiece 253 pages An examination of the beautiful glass windows of York, created at the time when making fine compositions in coloured glass had reached its highest point. York glass is almost all pot-metal i.e. coloured in the manufacture rather than enamelled and this accounts for its extraordinary brilliance. A lovely book on a fascinating subject.
